Stokes Block Boring:
Amvac Solutions offers an advanced block boring procedure for the popular Stokes rotary piston vacuum pumps. The bore of these Stokes pumps is a critical wear area and contributes to how well the pump will work. Over time, the outer edges of the bore become out of round and overall tolerances increase. This could result in excessive noise during pump operation, poor ultimate vacuum, and eventually, a pump seizure. With our block boring procedure, we bore the block and supply it with oversized hinge bars (and spacer for the Stokes 412H-10 and 412H-11) This procedure extends the life of the pump, brings it back to OEM specifications, and increases pumping efficiency at a fraction of the cost of a new pump.
